KijijiWIFI is a community WiFi management platform designed for local internet service providers in underserved areas. It integrates router-level provisioning with mobile-money payments to make internet access more accessible.
The Django backend manages subscriber accounts, bandwidth allocation, billing cycles, and router configuration. The Flutter mobile app allows subscribers to purchase data plans, view usage, and top up — all without needing a bank account.
Payment integration with Mpesa (East Africa's leading mobile-money platform) enables seamless, cashless transactions. Router provisioning is automated via SSH/API commands, so subscribers get instant access after payment.
